Photography is a gateway to me for exploring my surroundings. I have always been fascinated with viewing situations from an outsider’s perspective. I enjoy being an observer more than a participant. My skills include a variety of mediums and techniques in which I refined during my college education at St. Edward’s University. During my studies of photography, I became exposed to a variety of different styles of genres in which I incorporated into my work. I am knowledgeable about processing and printing film, working with Adobe programs, scanners and printers. My experience in both darkroom and digital lab aid me in all my projects. My desire is to continue to expand my skills in photography because learning is a life long experience. My range of experience includes work in the studio and outdoor settings. I have photographed commercial work, portraitures and landscapes using a Cannon D30 SLR, a Cannon AE-1 and a medium format camera. I have worked with children, adults, animals, architectural buildings and objects.
